Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Account & contact details: name, email address, organisation, and login credentials.
• Subscription & transaction data: plan, billing details, and records of purchases. Card and banking details are processed by our payment providers and are not stored by us.
• Files & content you upload: the spreadsheets, figures, and data you provide to generate reports.
• Reports you generate: the decks and outputs produced through the Service.
• Usage & technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and activity logs used to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Personal Data

• To provide, operate, and maintain the QuikReport service.
• To process subscriptions, payments, and invoices.
• To respond to enquiries and provide support.
• To send service, security, and account notifications.
• To improve, personalise, and secure the Service.
• To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

3. Legal Basis

We process personal data where you have given consent, where processing is necessary to perform a contract with you, where we have a legitimate business interest, or where required to comply with the law.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with:

• Authorised personnel operating QuikReport.
• Trusted service providers (e.g. hosting, payment processing, email, and analytics) acting on our instructions under their own policies.
• Authorities or third parties where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Data Retention

Retention is deliberately short and specific:

• Uploaded working files (your spreadsheets) are processed in a temporary workspace and deleted immediately after the figures are extracted, even if processing fails. They are never stored on our servers.
• Generated reports are kept in your private report library for 90 days (about 3 months) so you can re-download them, then deleted automatically. You can delete any report earlier from within the Service, or ask us to.
• When your subscription ends, any reports remaining in your library are deleted at the latest at the end of their 90-day retention window, or immediately on request.
• Account, subscription, and invoice records are retained while your account is active, and afterwards only as required by legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

6. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including:

• All data in transit is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS).
• Login credentials are stored only as salted, industry-standard hashes, and sessions use signed, HTTP-only cookies that cannot be read by scripts in the browser.
• Reports and templates are isolated per customer account: no other account can list, preview, or download them.
• Server-to-server integrations authenticate with dedicated API keys; customer data is only returned to authenticated sessions of the owning account.
• Access is limited to authorised personnel and approved service providers.

No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of relevant personal data, uploaded content, and generated reports, on request at any time, including at the end of your subscription.
• Withdraw consent or object to certain processing.

Our website and the Service may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect functionality.
